Our store is the finished product of our work this trimester. Students have been working in teams to create a product that solves an everyday problem.
Prototypes were made, surveys sent out, improvements decided upon, and advertising created. What you see here is the final iteration of their products.

Our Program
STEM is an 8th grade elective and includes three components: Business (mxInc), Computer Science for Innovators and Makers (PLTW), and Medical Detectives (PLTW). Students are currently finishing up our Business Incubator. They started with identifying things that “bug” them in their everyday lives, such as being unorganized, mosquito bites, siblings busting into their rooms, not being able to sleep, and phones that break. From this, they brainstormed solutions, pitched their ideas, worked with mentors from the local business community, and these top six ideas made it to the Marketplace for purchase.
